Michael Griffin is a TSL Europe Partner based in London. Mr. Griffin joined TSSP in 2011 and was most recently a TSSP senior investment professional serving on secondment at Candlewick Asset Management Limited, TSSPʹs UK middle market loan management business owned jointly with Goldman Sachs, advising with respect to a portfolio of distressed and performing assets. Mr. Griffin was previously one of the first investment professionals to join the Advisor of the TPG Specialty Lending (“TSLX”) platform at its formation in 2011. Prior to his time at TSSP, Mr. Griffin was a Senior Vice President at Golub Capital where he was responsible for underwriting, executing and managing debt and equity investments in middle market companies. Prior to his time at Golub Capital, Mr. Griffin was an Associate at Merrill Lynch Capital where he underwrote and executed mid-market leveraged finance transactions.  He started his career at LaSalle Bank N.A. where he completed the bank’s formal credit training program. Mr. Griffin graduated with a BBA in Finance from the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa.

James Charalambides is a Director with TSL Europe. He is based out of the London Office. Prior to joining TPG, James worked at Candlewick Asset Management, a joint venture with Goldman Sachs SSG servicing and investing in corporate distressed debt portfolios. Before that he was at Houlihan Lokey in London’s corporate finance team and also worked in Paris and London doing business development and strategy for Alliance Boots group. He received a master’s degree from Toulouse Business School, France.

Stuart Hawkins is a Director with TSL Europe, based in London. Prior to joining TSLE in 2015, Mr. Hawkins was a Director at Babson Capital Europe Limited within the direct lending team, where he worked from 2006. Mr. Hawkins has also previously worked at UBS Investment Bank within the Leveraged Finance and Financial Sponsors teams. He holds a B.S.c in Economics from Warwick University.

Taddeo Vender is a Director with TSL Europe. He is based out of the London Office. Prior to joining TPG, Taddeo was a Partner at Marlborough Partners, an independent leveraged debt advisory firm focused on private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Previously Taddeo worked in KKR’s Capital Markets team, sourcing leverage and advising on capital structures for KKR’s private equity investments across Europe. Earlier in his career, Taddeo worked at Credit Suisse in the Leveraged Finance Origination team, focusing on private equity transactions. He holds with distinction a M.Sc. in International Finance and Banking from Cass Business School and a B.Sc. in International Economics and Management from L. Bocconi University.

Joseph de Sousa is a Vice President with TSL Europe, based in London. Prior to joining TSSP, Joseph was an Analyst at Lazard, where he focused on the restructuring and debt advisory businesses. Joseph holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Somerville College, University of Oxford.

Ido Krakowsky is a Vice President with TSL Europe. He is based out of the London office. Prior to joining TSLE, Ido was with Greenfield Partners, an early growth-stage investment platform sponsored by TPG Growth. Before Greenfield Partners, he served as Director of Strategy & Director of Finance at United Family Healthcare (previously NASDAQ:CHDX), up to and following its acquisition by a consortium of buyers led by TPG Capital. Ido holds a BA in Finance and Accounting and an LLB in Law from IDC in Israel. Ido is fluent in English, Hebrew, and conversational in Mandarin.

Anthony Robertson is a Vice President with TSL Europe responsible for finance and fund operations and is a member of the TSSP Federation. He is based out of the London office. Prior to joining TSLE, Anthony was Head of Finance at Permira Debt Managers in London, where he was responsible for a team covering all aspects of finance and operations, including all company and fund accounting, investor reporting and fund valuations, tax reporting, regulatory reporting and other general legal and compliance-related matters.

Anthony was also responsible for the managing and monitoring of a number of PDM’s and the PDM funds’ key relationships with its various service providers including banking & custody providers and administrators in Guernsey, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Before that, Anthony was at Ernst & Young, LLP working in the Investment Management Group. Anthony is a qualified Chartered Accountant and received an MA, Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.

Michelle Schrey is a Vice President with TSL Europe, based in London. Prior to joining TSLE, Ms. Schrey was an Analyst at Deutsche Bank in the European Leveraged Finance Group, based in London and prior to this was an Analyst in the Corporate Finance Group, based in Frankfurt, Germany. Ms. Schrey received an MSc in Finance with Distinction from the London School of Economics and graduated at the top of her class with a BSc in General Management from the European Business School in Oestrich, Germany. Ms. Schrey is of German nationality.

Mikel Baixauli is an Associate with TSL Europe, based in London. Prior to joining TSSP, Mr. Baixauli was an Associate in the Distressed Debt Investment Team at Strategic Value Partners, and before his time at SVP worked as an Analyst in the M&A team at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Baixauli has a Bachelor in Business Administration and Management from Deusto Business School in Spain, and is currently undertaking a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics at the Open University.

Olivier Roy is an Associate with TSL Europe, based in London. Prior to joining TSLE, Olivier was an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs in London, where he focused on TMT and Industrials M&A. Olivier holds a Masters in Management from the London Business School and studied International Economics, Management, and Finance at Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan.
